Introducing the Hydrium Amarillo and Hydrium Azul: A Collaboration between Luis Revuelta and Isotope

We are excited to present the remarkable Hydrium Amarillo (yellow) and Hydrium Azul (blue) watches, born from the collaboration of acclaimed architect Luis Revuelta, AIA 2007 Architect of the Year, and Isotope Watches. These timepieces embody the perfect fusion of architectural brilliance and horological excellence.

Luis Revuelta, inspired by his journey in architecture, discovered the power of the yellow-and-black combination while studying. It not only provided a visually strong impact but also served as a personal identifier for his tools. The yellow and black reminded him of robust heavy equipment like International Harvesting, Caterpillar and the speed of vehicles like Porsche and Ferrari. During countless all-nighters, the yellow colour acted as a visual boost, evoking a sense of happiness during the late hours. It also helped organize his workspace, bringing order amidst clutter. The easy readability of yellow letters against a black background, or vice versa, further solidified his fondness for this colour combination.

After being teased by family and friends for his yellow-only collection, he embraced blue as an alternative. He found blue clothes and blue dials to be elegant and unique, standing out from the typical black dials. The soothing nature of blue reminded him of the Caribbean waters, his birthplace of Cuba, and the Miami sky, his adopted home. Blue served as a counterbalance to the energetic yellow gadgets that surrounded him, providing a sense of tranquillity.

For diving watches, the yellow dials on grey or black cases deliver a sharp, tough, and reliable appearance, coupled with exceptional legibility. The combination became the corporate colours that defined Luis's vision. His vision was also transported to the Hydrium Amarillo dial, a shimmering yellow, while the Hydrium Azul boasts a captivating matte blue.

The Swiss Landeron movement ensures precise timekeeping, while the elegant 40mm bead-blasted stainless steel case perfectly complements the vibrant yellow and blue tones, making these watches versatile for all seasons and styles.

These limited editions of 50 + 50 watches by Luis Revuelta are now available for immediate delivery. Don't miss the opportunity to own a truly extraordinary timepiece that represents the seamless convergence of architectural mastery and horological artistry.

The Isotope Hydrium Amarillo is an exclusive limited edition of only 50 pieces and we have 10 available and ready to ship. The remaining 40 watches will be available mid-July.
